If the season of Autumn visits you where you live, and you are anything like me, fall is you most favorite time of year. It's a wonderful season of bounty and beauty, the time when my garden is giving me so many tomato that I can't keep up with them. Back to school, the fall festivals and Halloween keep family's joyfully busy. And that fresh crisp air that comes, cooling the evenings. The worst thing about fall is that I know winter is on its way. Being from Florida, winter is not my favorite season. But it is the trade off of living somewhere that I get to truly enjoy the colors of the fall season.
Here are some of my favorite fall images. The first two were taken in Pennsylvania at
Springton Manor Farm. This county park is also a working farm today and a great place to visit if you are ever in the area. The next two aspen photos were taking in the mountains above Santa Fe, New Mexico. When the aspens are changing it seems like everyone goes up the mountain to hike in the beauty. The last one was taken in southwestern Colorado while on a camping trip. I made my husband put the camper over as soon as I saw it. The light, tree, and clouds were perfect.
Most of these available as prints in my
Etsy shop, LJLongfellow Fine Art Photograpy:
